Blackbeard's Treasure Beach Snorkeling Tour - Bahamas

Live the “pirate life” for a day as you search for treasure and relax in a private island oasis. On this excursion you will: Take a short boat ride to one of the most pristine white sand beaches in the Bahamas. Explore and enjoy this private island’s powder-white sand, comfy beach chairs and the crystalline turquoise waters. Find hidden treasure sparkling in the sand and beneath the water. Don your snorkeling gear and set off on your search for treasure. Take each piece you find back to Nassau and trade for a host of specials at select venues downtown. Enjoy lunch from the grill and still have time for a game of beach volleyball or basketball. End with a scenic ride back to the charming bustle of downtown Nassau. Note: Minimum age is 5 years. Snorkel equipment and lunch are included. Guests must be competent swimmers.

Experience one of the biggest, fastest and best-looking sailing catamarans in the whole Caribbean and a half-day excursion to Tintamar, a real deserted island. On this excursion you will: Ride aboard the “Golden Eagle”, a 76-foot, winged mast catamaran. Enjoy an open bar and light snacks while sailing at speeds up to 30 knots. Count the Flying fish or watch the dolphins while you lie in the nets or laze in the shade of the 80-foot sail. Stop at a quiet cove to snorkel in the crystal clear waters or bob around on a beach float. Explore caverns or dive through coral formations teeming with fish. Anchor off shore and swim to the beach or hop on a dinghy and ride the short distance. Stop on a fabulous pink sandy beach, one of the finest you will see in the Caribbean. Cruise downwind while listening to great music and enjoying cocktails and snacks. Note: Excursion may visit an alternate snorkel/beach location depending on sea conditions. All snorkel equipment is provided once onboard the vessel. Vessel may use motor due to weather conditions. Please be advised that European-style (clothing optional) sunbathing may be observed throughout beaches in St. Maarten.

On this comprehensive excursion you will: Begin with a scenic ride along Skyline Drive offering breathtaking views of Charlotte Amalie Harbour, the Caribbean Sea, the British Virgin Islands and Magen’s Bay, rated by many travel magazines as one of the top ten beaches in the world. At Drake’s Seat, enjoy a great photo stop of these spectacular views before continuing down to the heart-shaped beach and crystalline waters at Magen’s Bay for two hours of sun, swimming and fun. Continue on to Blackbeard’s Hill (“the Williamsburg of the Caribbean”) and step back into the age of the Caribbean pirates, viewing the surroundings atop the 17th century Blackbeard’s Castle (circa 1678), a National Landmark Property. Prior to exploring the historic surroundings set in the King’s Quarter, relax in the sun and enjoy any of the three delightful swimming pools. Take a self-guided tour through the completely restored historical buildings set on approximately 5 acres of grounds dating as far back as the late 1600’s. Historic structures include the world famous Blackbeard’s Castle and former manor houses Villa Notman, Britannia House, Crown House (once used by visiting Danish Royalty), Haagensen House, the Rum Museum, Hotel 1829 and the archaeological dig at the ruins of the 17th century Pedersen Estate, all listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Lush tropical gardens, terraces, fountains and a 20-foot waterfall add to the splendor of the settings. At your leisure, take a short walk via the famous 99 Steps to Main Street to indulge your passion for the great recommended shopping in St. Thomas. Note: This excursion ends downtown. Guests are responsible for the return transportation to the ship. Tour duration depends on the guest's personal touring and sopping time. Changing facilities are available.
