Beach Horseback Riding

Dune Buggy Adventure Feel the thrill of driving a dune buggy around the island – Grand Turk style.
On this excursion you will:
Climb aboard your customized dune buggy (2 guests per buggy). These buggies are used especially for traveling on the vast sand dunes of the ICA deserts of Peru.
Head down the narrow tracks that skirt the beach and rock coastline around the island to the south-east side. Take a trek to the bluff were you can capture the beautiful view of Gibb’s Cay and a few other little uninhabited islands that are visible in the Atlantic Ocean.
Get back into your buggies and drive to the John Glenn’s Capsule located at the entrance to the international airport. Pass the many Salina’s that were used to obtain Salt in its natural form during the Salt Industry on your way to the charming little city of Cockburn Town, which is the Administrative and Political Capital of the Turks & Caicos Islands.
After catching a quick look of the Capital you will make your way to North Wells, where if you are lucky you may catch a glimpse of the famous endangered “Pink Flamingo’s” that can be seen foraging through the silted bottom of the Salina ponds in search of brine shrimp and other crustaceans indigenous to the natural wild life, not to mention passing the occasional indigenous wild horse who roams free on the island.
Enter North Wells by way of a narrow sand track where many a tour bus dare not venture on your way around the island, pass the North Creek a ships haven during a hurricane, to the Northern most tip of the Island.
Enjoy the view from the cliffs high above the Atlantic Ocean, take a short nature walk to the tip of the Island and maybe catch a glimpse of the humpback whales that migrate between February and March.
You will then get back in your buggies and journey along the east coast back to the cruise ship pier.

On this excursion you will:
Experience another side of Nassau on a picturesque off-road Segway ride through the last pristine coppice forest on the island.
Take a short 15-minute drive in an air-conditioned van through town to arrive at one of Nassau’s last natural areas, Earth Village.
This 162 acre low-lying forest is recognized by botanists as one of the most diverse ecosystems in The Bahamas.
Here, you will meet your guide and be assigned your personal Segway.
During the short orientation, you'll be surprised at the ease with which young and old alike learn to master this fun, quiet, battery-powered machine.
Journey deeper into this scenic preserve on paths that run along the antiquated aqueducts which once provided Nassau with fresh water while your guide provides interesting information about the plants, fruits and trees in the area.
Then it’s time to take a shady break, where you can purchase a cool drink, before the next leg of the tour.
