Rainforest Hike to Grand Bois Waterfall

We will feel our senses come to life on this interactive tour of an exclusive 350-acre remote rain forest. On this excursion we will enjoy a scenic drive along a hilly coastal road with dramatic views of fishing villages, banana plantations and the ocean below. Arrive in the village of Canaries. Go off road and inland over rocky terrain, twisting and climbing into the fringes of the rain forest for three miles until you reach the estates. See rare and beautiful birds such as the White Breasted Thrasher, the St. Lucia Peewee, and the St. Lucia Oriole add color to the scenery. Explore the Belle Etoile estates’ giant ferns, birds of paradise, wild orchids, exotic flowers, fruits and vegetables. Take a hike along the Canaries River which separates the Grand Bois to the north and the Belle Etoile. Encounter a few natural pools including the Grand Bois Waterfall. Rest, enjoy a refreshing swim, and sample exotic fruits and cooked vegetables. Stop at Jude’s Bar in the village on your return journey from the rain forest to purchase a beverage of your choice. We will make our final stop at Marigot Bay to take some memorable photos of St. Lucia’s most beautiful yachting harbor.

On this amazing tour, we’ll experience everything that French St. Maarten has to offer! We’ll travel to the Dutch side of the island to the quaint fishing village of Grand Case, glide through the waters on a semi-submarine discovering an underwater world, take a tour of the colorful coral reefs and enjoy the spectacular feeding frenzy as divers feed the fish outside of our viewing windows. While learning about the local marine life, we’ll continue to the French Capital of Marigot to explore the beautiful city with its charming sidewalk cafés, open air markets and duty free shops!

St Kitts Highlights & Brimstone Hill Fortress

This memorable island tour includes Brimstone Hill National Park, Romney Manor Gardens & Caribelle Batilk Studio and a drive through Basseterre. On this excursion we will take a drive through the capital city of Basseterre. View old churches, West Indian cottages, traditional French architecture and Victorian structures. As we leave Basseterre, pass the Cenotaph and look across the Caribbean Sae for views of Nevis on a clear day. Drive past the Bloody River, a sight of a major battle area. Enroute to Romney Gardens take a look at the Carib volcanic rock drawing. Continue with a visit to Romney Manor Gardens and Caribelle Batik Studios. Tour the stunning 12-acre garden setting where local artists produce the fabric and apparel for Caribelle Batik. Samuel Jefferson, the great grandfather of Thomas Jefferson, 3rd President of the USA, was the original owner of this splendid estate. Finally, we will explore Brimstone Hill Fortress, a 300 year old fortress perched on a 40 acre hilltop 780 feet above sea level. Enjoy a self guided tour of this majestic fortress, also known as "The Gibralter of the West Indies" and is a significant site in the British and French naval history.
