Mike and I lived across the street from eachother for about 5 years before we ever met!!!!! I became friends with his brother scott in April of 2003 so Scott invited me to his graduation party in May. Mike was there and asked me if I would go to the beach with them the next day. After spending the day at the beach together he came across to my house and sat out front on the swing with me. We talked until about 4 in the morning!. Every night after that for about a week he came to my house every night and we did the same. One 6/6/03 he came over and had just got off of work. We decided to go to the movies and see 2 Fast 2 Furious. That was our first actual date. We had to drive in my car because his broke down the week before. After about another week he started staying at my house and eventually sort of moved in. That December I had to move out of my mom's house so mike moved back in at home and I moved in with my friend Gina. After our 2 year anniversary we decided to get our own place.

We finally had our own apartment where we lived until April of 2009 with our mean cat Mocha. Now we live in an awesome house with Mocha and could not be happier. In December Mike won a trip through his work to Cozumel. Because of all the problems in Mexico his boss suggested that we go on a cruise instead. On 5/3/09 we left Galveston Bay on a cruise to Jamaica and Grand Cayman (our stop to Cozumel was cancelled because of swine flu!). When we got on the boat we had a few drinks then had lunch and then we were allowed to see our room which had it's own private balcony. I started feeling sick when the boat took off so I laid down on the bed and Mike went to go get his contact solution. He came back with a beautiful plate of cheesecake and chocolate covered strawberries dressed like tuxedos. He asked me to join him on the balcony to share it and when he came out he proposed! It was beautiful with the water right there and the rest of our trip to celebrate!!!!! Two days after we get married will be our 8th anniversary. So far we are planning a wedding here in town. We can't afford much but we are going to make the best of everything we have! We are sooo excited!!!!!
