Our ceremony will be unique and very small and private. A limited number of people will be there (no anxiety attacks for me, thank you! haha) and it will be very personal. We decided to do a hand-binding ceremony and exchange our rings in private. It will be more "us", different, and very spiritual.

The reception is going for a Marie Antoinette theme. Frank insisted on an open bar when originally we wanted only champagne and wine, but we forfeited. So lots of drinks, plenty of champagne, and more deserts than you could ever imagine will be there! It's an afternoon wedding, so only a light lunch will be served. Everyone will have their choice of about six different salad combinations with a side of steak or chicken. Later on pizza will be brought out to stave off the munchies (for those of you who don't have a sweet tooth). Eric and I will leave from the ceremony to go on our honeymoon!!

We'll be driving everywhere. It's about 8 hours or so to Oheka Castle outside of New York City. It's a very romantic place, built in true French Chateau style. We'll spend a lot of our time there and do a professional photoshoot. It's really close to New York City, so we can easily head downtown to enjoy shows, shopping, Central Park, and art museums. From New York City it's only four hours to Boston- so why not stop by? We'll go on a whale-spotting tour, a romantic lunch cruise hopefully, and a walking tour to see the city. We'll have two nice dinners on the bay before heading back to Michigan.

Thank you to everyone for supporting us! We know that deep down you all think we're crazy, and we never denied it, but thanks for not saying it out loud (too often). We look forward to seeing everyone there and sharing memories.
