Charles and Ashley met in September of 2005. Ashley had just relocated to the same Domino's where Charles was a delivery driver. With Charles' fun and outgoing personality, they quickly became friends. Ashley really liked Charles, but already had a boyfriend at the time. A few months later, things fell apart with Ashley's boyfriend and she jumped at the opportunity to get to know Charles better (and finally gave him her phone number that he had been asking for quite awhile).
Their first "unofficial" date was in early December. Ashley had just finished school for the semester, so they went to Buffalo Wild Wings to celebrate. They had a blast. Later that evening, they went out to dinner with a friend. The night was even more memorable because it snowed! One of their favorite things to do together was to drive around and look at Christmas lights (and Charles knew where all the best houses were since he was a delivery driver)!
Charles and Ashley became a couple on New Year's Day 2006. They have been inseparable ever since! Charles popped the big question on March 9, 2007...and they have finally decided to make it official.

The wedding will take place on May 2, 2009 at the Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen. The address is 2880 Mountain Road, Glen Allen, VA 23060. The ceremony will begin at 2pm in the Weinstein Sculpture Garden. The garden is covered, but bring a sweater in case it is breezy!

The reception will begin immediately following the ceremony in the Grand Ballroom at the Cultural Arts Center and last until approximately 7pm. Heavy hors d'oeuvres will be served, and we will dance the evening away!

Directions to the Cultural Arts Center: From I-95, take I-295 towards Charlottesville. Take exit 45, Woodman Road South. Go to the light. Turn right onto Mountain Rd. Go 3/4 of a mile and the Cultural Arts Center will be on the right.
If you are coming from Gloucester, you will take I-64 West to I-295 towards Charlottesville. (You won't get to this exit until you are almost in Richmond). Then follow the rest of the directions above from exit 45 and on.

In lieu of a traditional registry, Charles and Ashley have decided to do a honeymoon registry instead. They feel they have everything they could possibly need (or fit) in their apartment already.
