Steven and I met three years ago when he was picking up a friend at the United Artist Theater in Roseville. Instantly we both thought the same of each other: cute and definitely a nice person. Those thoughts were kept to ourselves though. As time went on, we kind of developed a love/hate friendship. Finally, one summer, he added me to myspace (myspace...bringing people together) and from there we started talking a lot and found out that both of us were a little different than we thought. We then decided to hang out, and ended up spending practically the entire summer together. He introduced me to a lot of new things from my first trip to the river to learning how to drive downtown, while I introduced him to sushi and attempted to get him to eat fondue. It was probably the best summer I have had in a long time. Finally, we established the whole "I like you" thing. We decided to take things slow so we would really know if this was right for us. Neither of us wanted to waste time. Finally, one morning while getting ready, I got this feeling-maybe Steven was more to me than I was leading on. "I may sort of love Steven?" I prayed about it to know if this was right and ended with "okay God, send me a sign so that I will know. " That night, after the fun filled day, I was getting ready to leave. He hugged me tighter than usual and said "I really don't want to scare you with this but, I love you so much." At that time I let him in on the prayer from that same moment. That is how we knew it was meant to me. Things were amazing. Finally, Christmas Eve rolled around. That night, after I go off of myspace, Steven and I began talking. It was different though. I could tell something was on his mind because of the questions he was asking: how much do you love me? Would you want to spend the rest of your life with me? and finally, on his knees, "will you marry me?" I basically tackled him as I said YES!!! YES!!! YES!!! After that, things continued to be amazing. We can't wait for October!

Currently we are between locations for the wedding.
It is between the Delta King in Sacramento or on one of the Carnival ships in San Diego!

Our reception is also not quite decided yet. If on the Delta King, it will be a bit longer and more stuff will be happening. But, if we do end up deciding to have it on a Carnival ship, it will be shorter and more intimate. Whatever we end up deciding, I promise it will be awesome!!

If we do decided to have the wedding on a Carnival ship in San Diego, I will let you guys know where nearby hotels, dining, and attractions are.
