Michael and I met online. Yes, that is right. We met on the internet!
It was March of 2002 when Michael responded to an online ad my mom had posted of me on Match.com. He lived in Boise, I in Coeur d’Alene. We chatted online for a couple of months before he came to see me in Coeur d’Alene for a couple of days and it was as if we had known each other forever! The chatting and the back and forth trips went on for a couple of months until I had to go to Mississippi for an internship for at least 6 months. We knew we didn’t want to do the whole distance relationship thing so the only options were to cut the ties and possibly hook back up in the future or for Michael to move with me.
Well he packed his bags, against the better judgment of his friends, and moved to Mississippi with me. We lived there together for almost a year. It was great but it wasn’t Idaho.
We moved back to Coeur d’Alene where I owned a home and we have been here ever since. We now own a very successful entertainment business together where Michael is the lead DJ for 4 DJs and I am a wedding planner and event coordinator. We also own a small day spa and vacation home.
We have three wonderful dogs and are so happy to call Coeur d’Alene our home!

Friday September 12th: 12:30pm (afternoon): We have made reservations on a Coeur d’Alene Lake Cruise for anyone that would like to join us. 3:00pm: Rehearsal at the North Idaho College beach. Only the people in the wedding need to attend.
5:00pm: Rehearsal dinner/party at Cedars restaurant n Coeur d’Alene. Anyone that would like to join us please come! We have made reservations at Dockside for a party. Again, we are working on a group discount for everyone. Please let me know if you would like to join us.
On the wedding day family photo times will be announced.

Please join Michael and I at our home at 730 Military Drive for our wedding reception that will take place following our ceremony.
To get to the reception site: You can leave your car parked in the library parking lot and walk past that and over to River. Heads toward the Fort Ground Grill (big red building) and turn left (north) on North Military. We are the 2nd house on the right, you will see the cedar fence.
This is an adult reception. Please no jeans, t-shirts or hats. And be ready to dance and party all night with us! See you there!

* The nearest airport is in Spokane Washington (GEG).
* For all guests that will be arriving at the airport I am working on having transportation from the Coeur d’Alene Resort to pick you up. The transportation is a division of the Coeur d’Alene Resort and the Coeur d’Alene Inn therefore if you stay at one of those places it will make this easier. If you don’t want to rent a car please let me know when you will be arriving and I will make arrangements either way.
* The weather in North Idaho in September is wonderful! During the day it can get up to the 90s and at night it can get down into the 40s. Please be prepared, clothing wise, for that temperature range.
* Downtown Coeur d’Alene is the place to be to find all kinds of places to eat and plenty of places to get coffee. Sherman Avenue is a great place to shop, eat and is just a block away from a relaxing walk on the shores of Lake Coeur d'Alene.
