Karl and I first met taking a class together in college. I knew right then that he would one day be mine but I had a hard time getting him to ask me out. Almost a year later we met up at Cowboy's on my 21st birthday and at that time he realized what a mistake he was making letting me be a free woman. (He thought I was younger than 21, guess that means I will age very well. ha,ha) From then on we have been unseparatlable. Now three years later, we have finally decided to take the plung. Karl proposed in Grand Island, Nebraska in a $50 hotel room at 7:00 in the morning during our vacation trip in July. (For those of you that know me, I am not a morning person so this was an awesome surprise to wake up too.) We are excited and ready to start the next chapter of our lives together.

Our wedding is September 16, 2009 in Montego Bay, Jamaica. We are simple people and want to express our love for each other in a private place just for the two of us. This date was chosen because it fell right in place with our plans and not only will this be our wedding day forever but it is also my grandmother's birthday, who loves Karl as much as her own grandchildern.

To help us celebrate taking the plung, there is going to be a great reception held on October 3, 2009. Everyone will gather at Karl's parents house in Seiling, OK for awesome food and fellowship. It will be casual attire, bring your own lawn chair, and BYOB.

Karl and I are so blessed to have you all in our lives. We are counting down the days and anticipating our romantic Carnival Wedding/Honeymoon Cruise. Thanks to everyone who is helping to make this occasion a memoriable one.
