Our Story

How we met was completely by chance. I was living in Utah and Brandon was in Wyoming. Me and a couple of girlfriends went up to Jackson Hole for Hill Climb Weekend. We ended up at the Log Cabin Saloon where Brandon was managing. We were standing in line waiting to get in when Brandon came down the stairs. He told his bouncers it was time for a break - just so he could check our I.D.'s himself...

It was a very busy weekend and my bar was packed. I was running around making sure everything was running smoothly. As I came down the stairs, I stopped, and saw a beautiful girl waiting to get in. To my bouncers dismay, I forced them to take a break. I didn't even look at her I.D. in my hand because I couldn't take my eyes off her...

As the night went on, we didn't really get a chance to talk very much. There was a lot of eye contact, smiles, and even a hug. As we were about to leave, Brandon pulled me aside and asked me for my phone number. I couldn't resist...

I let the girls inside and told Candice that I would find her later. It was so busy, that as the night went on, I thought I wouldn't find her again. I searched high and low and ran up and down the stairs all night. And there she was. All I could do was smile when I finally found her. And yes, I got the digits...

After many weeks of talking on the phone, our friendship grew. And it was hard for us to be apart. Many, many miles later, and a few close calls with the local wildlife, we decided a long distance relatationship was not for us. That was 2 1/2 years ago, and now we've decided to make it official. We were engaged on Christmas Eve 2008.

Our Wedding

We are getting married on Monday, October 26th, 2009 on the Carnival Spirit. We need everyone to be at the pier at 10:30 in the morning. Everyone will need to be dressed and ready to go at this time. You will need to provide your state issued I.D. at check-in. You will leave your I.D. with security and be given a guest pass to board the ship. When leaving the ship, you will need to redeem your I.D. in the ship's terminal. You are welcome to tour the ship until the cermony begins. We do not know the exact time and location yet, but will provide it to you as soon as possible. Maps of the ship will be availabe at the Information Desk.

Our Reception

The reception will immediately follow the ceremony on the cruise ship. A wedding luncheon will be provided in the ship's dining room.

A Special Message From Us

We are very excited about the wedding and hope you will be able to join us. We especially want to say thank you to everyone that will be traveling. We realize that not everyone can make it, but we will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. Adios!
