Our Story

It was the love of off roading that brought us together, and our hearts that keep us together. The road has had some pretty large pot holes, we may have tripped several times, but our binding love stopped us from falling.

Our life revolves around laughter, love and our family and friends.

Our Wedding

After 11 years of talking about growing old together and getting married, I want to make Ron’s wish come true. For his 50th birthday we have planned a birthday SURPRISE cruise to his favorite region, the Mexican Riviera and his dream wedding is to marry on the cruise ship. His wish will come true, he just does not know it yet, and if we tell him our plans it will ruin his birthday surprise. Crystal, my daughter, my bridesmaid and best friend, is taking care of all the arrangements for the wedding.

Our wedding will take place November 1, 2009 aboard the Carnival Splendor in Long Beach at approximately 11:00 am. Preboarding for all attending will be approximately 10:00 am; any guests that are not sailing will disembark after the reception.

Our Reception

I am going to propose to Ron Saturday evening during dinner. First I will give him his early birthday gift which will be the cruise tickets, and then I will get on one knee and ask him to marry me giving him his wedding ring and special bottle of Jameison Whiskey I got him in Ireland which has his name printed on the label.

I wish I could invite all my friends to this joyish event, but due to the limited number the ship will allow, we are limited on the guest list, and those going are limited to just adults.

Travel Arrangements

Due to the distance that most will be traveling to be at our wedding and the traffic congestion in Southern California, I suggest that you plan on spending the night Saturday. You don't want to miss the look on Ron's face when I get on one knee.....

The official "Ron's Surprise Birthday, Engagement, Wedding Rehearsal, Bachelor, Bachelorette, Pre Cruise, Halloween Party" will be held at the Auld Dubliner Pub, 71 South Pine Avenue, Long Beach, CA, from 5:00 to 7:00, with free transportation on the Red Line bus. I will bring Ron to the Pub around 5:15 giving everyone time to get their table and drink. The Red Line "Passport" will pick everyone up in front of the Queen Mary and stop in front of the Pub. The Passport bus line is available every 15 minutes until midnight. After dinner you can take the ghost tour on the Queen Mary or just relax.

I have arranged for a group rate at the Queen Mary Hotel, of $149.00 (including parking). The Queen Mary is located next to the Carnival terminal so you will not need to move your vehicle until you're ready to go home. For reservations please call 800-437-2934 and book under the Stinedurf "Surprise B-Day/Wedding Party. Sailing guests should unload all luggage then park in the Carnival parking lot.

So who is going to start the betting, is Ron going to do his "safety dance", collapse, cry or take 5 shots of whiskey and say yes.

A Special Message From Us

Shhhhh Ron knows we are going to get married, he just does not know when and where. If he knows, it would ruin his birthday surprise.
