THE MEETING
Robert and I met on the dating website, Match.com, in January 2009. We both joined the website on the same evening. Within a day or two, we were matched up according to our compatabilities. I remember hours and hours of phone calls while we were getting to know each other. It was 2 weeks before we went on our first date. The date consisted of dinner, a movie, and a few drinks along with MORE TALKING. We were both ready to settle down into a relationship. We decided on that evening that we wanted to begin a relationship with each other.

THE DISCUSSION OF MARRIAGE
During the course of planning our cruise vacation, Robert had asked me how I felt about marriage. At the time, considering my past experience with it, I told him that it does not agree with me. He took that bit of information and we discussed what a marriage should consist of. After our discussion, I was ready to marry him right then and there. He is the man that I have waited my whole life for. Robert is very sincere, and very thoughtful. Not only to me but to my sons, Dominic and Colton, as well. He has nothing but love and commitment for our family. He is all about me and "our boys". I used to joke around with him about how we used to live a past life together. I feel that he is my "soulmate". It has only been a short amount of time that we have been together but I can honestly say that since he has come into my life, I do not want a day to go by without him in it.

THE PROPOSAL
Robert suprised me with a diamond ring in an easter egg during an easter egg hunt at my Grandmother's house. When the kids were all outside during their hunt, Robert had planned an "adult egg hunt" just for me to find the ring. I was honestly surprised on the day that he chose to propose to me. I secretly thought that he was going to wait another month and ask me on my birthday. I am so happy that he did it the way he did.

OUR HOBBIES
We enjoy spending our time with our boys. When we do not have them, we enjoy taking rides on the motorcycle, shopping, going out to eat, and watching movies. We have also put a lot of time and energy into fixing up the house. I enjoy cooking dinners and having them ready and waiting for him when he walks in the door after a long day at work.

Our love for each other is a ONE OF A KIND. I have only dreamed of this type of love and never thought that I would have it. ROBERT IS MY DREAM COME TRUE!
WHEN: Saturday, October 31st 2009

WHERE: Jacksonville, Florida . We are having our exchange of vows ceremony on The Fascination Cruise Ship traveling to The Bahamas. After the ceremony we will have a 1 hour reception. It consists of a small array of appetizers, a 2 tier cake, open bar, and a bottle of champagne. We have invited lots of family and friends. We are looking forward to the ones that are able to make it and will be missing the ones that cannot.

Robert's dad, Butch, is going to be the Best Man. Lori Sheeler, a long time friend of mine, is doing me the honor of standing up for me. I will be having my mother, Rondi, walk down the aisle with me. My step-father, Mike, who has been a "Dad" to me is also sharing this special time with us. I would also like to add that Robert's mother, Bonnie and his sister, Debbie, are going to be able to celebrate our "special day" with us.
We are looking forward to celebrating our wedding day with all of them!
As stated earlier, we are having a small reception on the ship. However, we are planning an "at home" reception for the next summer. The date is planned for JUNE 12TH, 2010. We know that the expense of a cruise weddingmoon is not within the average person's budget. So we are looking forward to celebrating with family and friends at our home in Knox, Indiana. Invitations will be sent out to remind people closer to the date in June.
We are traveling into Jacksonville the day before our wedding. We are going to have an evening of dinner and drinks with family and friends that will be cruising with us. We are staying the night in a hotel close to the terminal. On Saturday morning, we will arrive at the ship early and have our ceremony the same day.
TO ALL OF OUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS:

We are thankful to have you in our life and appreciate your love and support for us. We are looking forward to sharing our special dates with each of you. If you cannot attend our ceremony in Jacksonville, please consider attending out reception at home in June of 2010.

MUCH LOVE,
Kristy & Robert Peters Jr.
