Jeff and I met at York Technical College in Rock Hill. We worked together in the Computer Lab, while attending school, and were friends for about 7 months before we began to 'hang out.' We had so much fun together and laughed constantly. We became best friends and realized this was something we wanted for the rest of our lives. Jeff and I have dated since April 10, 2007. Life has been so amazing for us ever since.
Jeff proposed to me November 17, 2008. We were 'supposed' to go out to eat with my parents, but instead a limo pulled into our driveway and Jeff, all dressed up holding a dozen roses, got down on one knee and proposed. I hit him and asked him what he was doing - then I cried. We then rode up to Charlotte (listening to a CD he mixed for us) and ate at Bentley's in downtown Charlotte. So romantic, so fun.
In January 2009 we purchased our first home! We totally remodeled the house and now Jeff lives there with his roommate, Josh McCrorey. I can't wait to move into my own home with Jeff after the wedding!
God has blessed us so much, and I am eternally thankful to Him for bringing such an awesome man of God into my life.
Our wedding will be held at Shield of Faith Church, where I've attended all my life. Plans are SLOWLY coming along, but we are so excited to have you be a part of our special day! Our wedding date is October 10th, 2009 - at 4:00p.m.
Dress is semi formal. Please pray for a beautiful, cool autumn day for us!
The reception will follow immediately after the service in the Thomas Patterson Life Center, located on the church grounds. We're still working on details, of course, but we hope you will stay and celebrate with us! And please, bring your dancing shoes... we'll be playing all types of music from Frank Sinatra, Steven Curtis Chapman to Brad Paisley. There are a couple surprises we can't wait to share with you - so please come and be a part!
We will be contacting local hotels to have a block of rooms held for our guests. My dad, always the best travel agent, will have packets of info available to anyone interested about local attractions, hotels, malls, restaurants, etc. Check back here soon to find out the details and costs of the hotels we're reserved. And don't hesistate to call my dad - he's GREAT at finding a good deal.
And so the countdown is on! Again we want to thank everyone for being a part of our lives up to this point, and we soooo hope you will come to our wedding and celebrate with us. We created this wedding / honeymoon website to keep you informed of what's going on these next few months.
As I stated earlier, we have already purchased our first home, and since Jeff is already living there, we're fairly set. We have registered at Target for a few items, but thought the honeymoon registry would make things super convenient for our guests.
God is so amazing and we are so happy he brought us together. We can't wait to see you October 10th!
