Randy and I will be getting married on the Carnival Destiny June 28, 2010. That date is special due to the fact it is Randy's birthday, but also because it will mark the two year anniversary of his proposal.
We met in Augusta, Maine back in September 2007. I was visiting my best friend Bonnie and her husband Rob that weekend. We went for a night out and ended up at a place called The Wharf. Bonnie has a knack for picking out something unique about someone and spark up a conversation or joke about it. Well she did that to Randy's friend that night about a T-shirt he was wearing. Later in the night another girl that went with us, Jenn started flirting with that same guy and I ended up standing next to her and Randy introduced himself. That is where we started. We haven't gone a day since without talking.

Like indicated in Our Story, our wedding will take place on the Carnival Destiny on June 28, 2010.
At this time I do not have information on the location and time of the ceremony.
I would recommend tropical semi formal attire for the ceremony and reception. Remember this is taking place in June in FLORIDA. It gets hot. Most of everything should take place inside on the ship. But to be safe, dress for warm weather.

We have reserved a DJ for the reception. He comes highly recommended for Carnival's weddings. There will be open bar and Hors D'Oeuvres for everyone's enjoyment. Of course we will have the champaign toast and cake.

We will be arriving in Miami the day before. This is because everyone should be at the port ready to board the ship at 10:30 AM. I strongly recommend that whether you are a non sailing guest or a sailing guest, you should stay the night before in Miami.
We have reserved a block of rooms at the SpringHill Suites Miami Arts/Health District.
You can start making reservations by simply calling (800)321-2211 and request a reservation under the Mace-Johnson Wedding room block.
Your cut off date to make reservations is Friday, May 14, 2010.
For the guest that do want to sail, you can book your cruise through any agency or online travel site. I had book ours directly through Carnival. If you want to have your reservations cross referenced with our wedding booking... please contact Gilda at (800)819-3902 ext 82554. Please reference booking number 55K9X7.

For everyone, it will be an honor and pleasure for you to attend our wedding. I know for some it will take extreme effort, but I believe the enjoyment will pay off.
You don't have to cruise to attend our wedding. Carnival allows for non sailing guests that cannot commit to a cruise. Please indicate on the RSVP of the formal invitaiton whether you will be sailing or not sailing if you are attending our wedding.
I will be updating this website as we get closer to the date and times/locations get confirmed.
