We both met each other about 10 years ago while Nicci was still in school through mutual friends and her family were members at the same firehouse as myself. We bacame somewhat friends then and saw each other off and on durning mutal parties and events. A few years later while I was working for a privite ambulance company me and Nicci started talking more and more. From there came the occasional movie, which after a few weeks passed became a weekly ritual between us. The more we started hanging out with each other the more I started falling for her until all of a sudden one day somehow became a couple and things just grew from there. About six month later we found out that Nicci was pregnat and we were expecting our first son, so we decided we should move in together into her parents home. The pregnancy was a fun time, I think I had more odd craving than she ever did. Nicci had a water bed that her father way over filled and during the pregnacy her and the baby took up the top of the hump so every night i knew my spot between the mountain in the bed and the wall , lol. So nights i was allowed to cuddle with the baby bump and fall asleep with her in my arms and the tiny heart beat in my ear. In early January we were bith tired of the waiting for Mr. Kaden to make his grand enterance into the world so when she went in to Kaiser for her 9 month check up ( and after multiple false 2 am alarms ) we were scheduled for the doctor to pop her water the following day at 5:30 am. that whole night I couldnt sleep so i stayed up pacing the floor and cleaning her parents house till it was spotless. After arriving at the hospital and waiting for her room we finally got one. 23 and a half hours later we had our son. The whole hospital visit I shared a bed with the two new loves of my life. Now I know why they say their is no more beautiful sight than an new mothers glow. We took our new son home and a few months later we decided to pack up and start our new family in an place we can call our own ( as much of your own that you can call a rented apartment ). We had fun growing and learning from each other on being new parents. Just when we finally got into the swing of things we learned 9 months later that nicci was pregnat again
